  1. I had an opportunity to visit Head-Smashed-In nearly 20 years ago, as a side trip when Jane Radcliffe and I were teaching a course at the University of Edmonton. The memory is still powerful, and I look forward to experiencing the site and its interpretation again. It is, I believe, designated as a “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO — and deservedly so!
