So, we'll finish up the afternoon and gather back at the GCVM visitor center for supper, auction and more smoozing with our colleagues. Some of us will depart for home. Folks are enjoying a lot of good sessions and workshops today. Topics include historic clothing, storytelling, stenciling, special events, collections deacessioning, educational programs and more. The brewers took a field trip to the Fat Ox establishment. They report good findings.
The array of goodies at Friday evening's reception was truly impressive- and delicious. Several versions of pickled eggs, many ALHFAMer-made cheeses, interesting treats and historic edibles. Thanks, folks!
The usual warm ALHFAM welcome, greetings to long-time friends and colleagues, meeting new folks, getting oriented. Then we're off in vans to see an amazing historic clothing collection or dispersed throughout the historic village to brew, farm, cook, boil maple sugar, cast pewter and do "make and take" hand projects.
